One of Cheryl’s most recent projects prior to joining JCDC was the relocation of NSK Precision America’s headquarters to the Franklin facility.

Cheryl Morphew, Executive Director JCDC, s a life-long resident of Johnson County and comes to the JCDC from the Governor’s Public Private Partnership, the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC).
Prior to IEDC, Morphew worked at the Johnson County Community Foundation as their Director of Grants and Scholarships and worked for nearly 20 years at Vectren (previously Indiana Gas), where she found her passion for economic development.
Morphew has been a civic volunteer in the community for over 20 years. She currently sits on the Board of Directors for Youth Connections, helped co-found the Johnson County Youth Philanthropy Initiative, has served in various capacities for United Way of Johnson County and is a ’96 graduate of Leadership Johnson County.
Cheryl holds a BS in Business from the University of Indianapolis and MS in Management from Indiana Wesleyan.

The Johnson County Development Corporation (JCDC) has two full time staff members. However, the staff is supported and assisted by an army of area elected officials and representatives from the private sector in their efforts to grow the economy of Johnson County for the benefit of all of its residents.
JCDC also works closely with the Indiana Economic Development Corporation and the Indy Partnership to maximize assests in assisting companies interested in locating and/or expanding in Johnson County Indiana.
The Johnson County Development Corporation's Mission Involves:
- creating a development vision,
- retaining existing business and industry,
- maintaining and increasing the overall quality of life,
- fostering quality job creation and tax base development in Johnson County.

Lee Ann Wilbur, Administrative Assistant JCDC, is a life-long resident of Johnson County has and been with
the JCDC over 9 years. Prior to working at the JCDC, she worked in the Human Resource Department of NSK Corporation and in the Marketing Department of Johnson County REMC. She has been an active member in the community for several years serving on several boards and committees.
Lee Ann currently resides in Greenwood with her husband, Scott and daughter,
Lindsey.
